Mangalore Oktoberfest 2026

Terms, refunds and privacy

Draft, under review. The registered entity, the governing jurisdiction and the grievance officer are still to be confirmed and appear below as [ to be supplied ]. Everything else states how the event and its ticketing actually work today.

Terms and conditions

The terms on which Otium Entertainment sells a ticket to Mangalore Oktoberfest 2026 and admits a guest to the venue.

Who these terms are between

These terms are between Otium Entertainment (“we”, “us”, the organiser) and the person who buys or holds a ticket to Mangalore Oktoberfest 2026 (“you”).

Registered entity and address: [ to be supplied ].

Buying a ticket, accepting a ticket, or entering the venue means you accept these terms.

The event

Mangalore Oktoberfest 2026 takes place on Saturday 3 October 2026 at Palemar Garden, Mangalore. Gates open at 4:00 PM and the event closes at 11:30 PM.

The line-up, set times, running order, activities and layout are subject to change. A change to any of them is not a cancellation and does not entitle you to a refund.

Tickets

Tickets are sold through two channels: online through our ticketing platform, and in person by our own authorised promoters. A ticket bought from anyone else is not valid and we cannot help you with it.

A ticket admits the number of people stated on it and no more. Each booking reference may be admitted once.

Do not share a photograph of your ticket or its reference. The first person to present a reference at the gate is admitted on it, and we are not able to admit a second.

Tickets may not be resold above face value, or sold on as part of any package, without our written permission.

Age and identity

Entry is strictly 18+. A valid government-issued photo ID is required at entry and may be requested at any time inside the venue.

The legal drinking age in Karnataka is 21. Alcohol will not be served to anyone under 21, whatever their ticket says and whatever their entry age.

We may refuse entry, or ask you to leave without a refund, if you cannot produce ID.

Entry, re-entry and refusal

There is no re-entry. Once you leave the venue your ticket is spent.

We may refuse entry or remove any person who is intoxicated, behaving unsafely, behaving abusively, carrying a prohibited item, or breaching these terms or the venue rules. No refund is due in any of those cases.

Searches may be carried out at the gate as a condition of entry.

Your own risk

You attend at your own risk. The event is outdoors and includes live amplified music, crowds, and activity installations.

We are not liable for loss of or damage to personal property, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Recording and photography

The event is photographed and filmed. By entering, you consent to appearing in that material and to its use by us and our partners for promotion, without payment.

If you would rather not appear, tell a member of the team at the gate and we will do what we reasonably can.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at [ to be supplied ] have exclusive jurisdiction.

Refund policy

When a ticket is refunded, when it is not, and how long a refund takes to reach you.

Tickets are non-refundable

Tickets are sold on a non-refundable, non-exchangeable basis. We cannot refund a ticket because your plans changed, because you could not attend, because you arrived after gates closed, or because you left early.

This is stated here plainly rather than buried, because it is the term most people need to know before they buy.

If we cancel the event

If we cancel the event outright, you are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price you paid.

Booking fees or platform charges levied by a ticketing platform are refunded only to the extent that platform refunds them to us.

If we postpone or materially change the event

If we move the event to another date, your ticket remains valid for the new date without any action from you.

If the new date does not work for you, you may request a full refund of the ticket price within 14 days of the new date being announced.

A change to the line-up, set times, running order or activities is not a material change and does not entitle you to a refund. Live line-ups change.

If we cannot run because of something outside our control

Where the event cannot go ahead because of weather, a government or police order, a licensing decision, an act of God, or anything else outside our reasonable control, we will refund whatever portion of the ticket price we are able to recover, after unavoidable costs already incurred.

We will say plainly what has been deducted and why.

Tickets bought in person

A ticket bought in cash from one of our promoters is refunded to the same person, on production of the booking reference and the ID used at purchase.

How to ask for a refund, and how long it takes

Write to us with your booking reference. Tickets bought online through a ticketing platform are refunded by that platform, under its own timelines.

Refunds we make directly are processed within 7 working days of being agreed, to the original payment method where possible.

Contact: N Sathwik, Otium Entertainment, +91 74117 87321.

Privacy notice

What we collect when you buy a ticket, why we hold it, and how to have it removed.

What we collect

When you buy a ticket we record your name, email address and phone number, the tier and quantity bought, the amount paid, the payment method, and a payment reference where there is one.

Where a booking admits more than one person, we record the names of the additional guests if you give them. Those are optional and a blank is simply not a guest.

At the gate we record that a booking was admitted, when, and which member of our team admitted it.

We do not collect card numbers, bank details or UPI credentials. Payments are handled by the payment provider and those details never reach us.

Why we hold it

To issue your ticket and send it to you.

To admit you at the gate and to know how many people a booking admits.

To reconcile what was sold against what was collected, which is a bookkeeping obligation rather than a choice.

To contact you about this event if something changes — a time, a location, a cancellation.

Marketing, and how it is separate

We only send marketing to people who have opted in. Consent to marketing is recorded against the booking, separately from the purchase, and refusing it does not affect your ticket.

Every marketing message carries a way to unsubscribe, and unsubscribing is honoured across all our lists rather than the single one you were sent from.

Who else sees it

Our ticketing platform, for tickets bought online, under its own privacy terms.

Our email provider, to deliver your ticket and any event notice.

Our hosting and database providers, who store the record.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with sponsors or brand partners.

How long we keep it

Booking and admission records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and tax, and then deleted.

Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Where a record must be kept for accounting we will say so rather than quietly refuse.

Photography at the event

The event is photographed and filmed, and you may appear in that material. This is covered in the terms and conditions rather than repeated here.
